About
A hosting company
run by people who use it
Vesopa Cloud is part of Vesopa EPOS Ltd — a Welsh software company that has run its own servers since 2018, because we needed hosting we could trust for our own customers first.
We build and run Vesopa EPOS: till software used in restaurants, cafés and takeaways across the UK. That business depends on servers being up at seven on a Friday evening, so we learned to run infrastructure properly long before we sold any of it.
Hosting came out of a repeated conversation. A venue would ask who does their website, and the answer was some reseller charging forty pounds a year for an SSL certificate that is free, on a control panel designed in 2003, with support that closes at five. We could do better than that with the servers we already had.
So the product is deliberately narrow. Shared hosting, domains and email, done well, on a panel we wrote ourselves. No VPS range, no reseller tier, no upsell funnel. If you need something we do not do, we will say so and point you at someone who does.
Where your site actually lives
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on Microsoft Azure, in a UK region. Every account is an isolated system user with its own quota. We run the same stack for our own production systems, which is the only endorsement that means much.
Who answers your ticket
Someone in the UK who can read a server log and change a config. We are a small team, so you will get the same few names — which also means we remember your site the second time you write.
